Here Lord Krishna reveals the conclusion to the essence of all knowledge. The most confidential of all knowledge that is confidential. Sarva-dharmaparityagya means renouncing all conceptions of what one thinks or imaginesreligiosity to be. This does not mean to renounce righteousness forrighteousness to all jivas or embodied beings is always attuned and inharmony with the Supreme Lord. The ultimate goal of all religious andspiritual conceptions is communion with the Supreme Lord Krishna. Toachieve this one must first have realisation of their atma or immortal soulwithin the etheric heart. After surrendering and taking exclusive refuge inHim alone one is blessed by the Supreme Lord and by His grace, He, Himselfwill accomplish this for His devotee.
Bhagavad Gita In Kannada (all 18 Chapters) Chapter 1
The Bhagavad Gita manuscript is found in the sixth book of the Mahabharata manuscripts – the Bhisma-parvan. Therein, in the third section, the Gita forms chapters 23–40, that is 6.3.23 to 6.3.40. The Bhagavad Gita is often preserved and studied on its own, as an independent text with its chapters renumbered from 1 to 18. The Bhagavad Gita is very much like this. Each chapter is designated as a particular Yog, while the eighteenth chapter is considered the synopsis. In this chapter, Shree Krishna briefly summarizes the perennial principles and eternal truths that were presented in the previous seventeen chapters and establishes the collective conclusion of all.
Now begins the summation.
